Woven Gabions
The woven gabion can be used for slope support, foundation pit support, mountain rock surface shotcrete, slope planting (greening), railway expressway isolation and protection block. It can also be made into box cages and net mats, which can be used for erosion protection of rivers, dams and seawalls, and for the closure of reservoirs and rivers.
Advantages
Strong and flexible structure
Woven gabions have a strong and flexible structure that allows them to effectively prevent dispersion and withstand the forces of water and earth. In addition, they are adapted to different settlements, such as unstable soil conditions or areas with harsh environments. At the same time, all their edges are reinforced with thick steel wire edging for added strength.
Excellent permeability.
Double strand gabions have excellent positive permeability, allowing for good drainage of the backfill to dissipate the hydrostatic pressure exerted on the gabion walls.
Highly versatile.
Depending on your project requirements, double strand woven gabions can be stacked to form retaining walls with vertical, sloped or stepped fronts. Also, woven gabions can be installed in combination with a variety of plants for added strength and greater aesthetics.
Long Service Life.
All of our hexagonal woven gabions are heavily galvanized, zinc-aluminum coated, and optionally PVC coated to resist corrosion and maximize their service life.
Application
Gabion mesh is generally used for slope support, foundation pit, mountain rock hanging net slurry, slope vegetation (greening). It is also used for rivers, dykes, scour protection seawalls, reservoir netting mats, and river interceptor netting.Gabions can be constructed in the middle of slopes with a slope of 45 degrees or more to prevent soil erosion. You can also build a wall along the perimeter of your property and around your garden beds using galvanized stranded baskets.
