ROCK WOOL PIPE SECTION
For any high temperature applications up to 850 degrees Celsius, the most appropriate product is VIFLEX rockwool. This mineral fibre-based insulation with different density range, has a good insulation value (k-value) of 0.034 W/mK. But the most important feature is its non-combustibility and high operating and melting temperature. This makes it also suitable to be used for passive fire protection

Thermal conductivity and thermal loss
The thermal conductivity of the H&V Pipe Section depends upon the size of the pipe section. Please refer to the table on the next page to determine the performance curve for the sizes of interest.
